We’re building for the way kids’ basketball actually runs: gym changes, tournament weekends, and skill work from ball-handling basics through middle-school sets. Today you can run schedules, roster, staff hub posts, and (on paid plans) fee tracking in one signed-in dashboard — and export the calendar to Google or Apple. Roadmap: native mobile apps, automated reminders, and live two-way calendar sync — many programs still pair CoachOS with their league app or parent chat for now.
Volunteer and club coaches are juggling TeamSnap threads, Venmo for tournament fees, a Google Sheet for playing time, and paper for BLOBs — while trying to teach triple-threat, help defense, and age-appropriate game counts. Younger teams need simple, fun reps; older youth need structure without burnout. CoachOS is aimed at that lane first.
Honest scope: we focus on the coaching-side workflow first (hub, schedule, roster, wellness logs). Many programs still pair CoachOS with their league app or parent group chat — that’s normal while we keep shipping from the roadmap.
Lost gym updates — practice moved to the aux court, parents never see the text, half the team shows up late.
Teaching split — your practice plan lives in one place, calls in another, and no one shares the same vocabulary (e.g. “Chicago,” “motion,” “press break”).
Dues & trips — registration, uniform money, and travel deposits tracked in DMs instead of one ledger.
Scattered updates — half the staff sees the schedule change, half doesn’t, and parents ask three different people the same question.
If you need native parent apps, automatic SMS reminders, or full two-way Google sync from the cloud, we’re still building parts of that story. If you’re okay with Family hub in the mobile browser, exporting the schedule to other calendars, and optional side-channel texts for last-minute gym changes, CoachOS can be your staff home for rosters, schedules, and attendance today.
Labels like “planned” or “roadmap” on cards are not live yet. For a straight list of what you can click on now, see Docs.
